Spring Clean Craft Room Series!!

Lots of pictures!

Hi everyone,

I was invited to attend a Spring Clean Craft Room Series with Cori of Created by Cori.

Craft room  storage room on a budget and if you are like me, it gets a little messy!!!

Here are my before pics.....

These college storage units were $2.00 for a set of 4, it works for the time being!! I really am in love with paper, it's what I have most!!

One wrong move and those cartridges will be on the floor, need a new area for those!! That little white storage unit houses my punches, adhesives, inks and twine!

This computer desk was free, courtesy of my sister!

This work desk free, courtesy of a co-worker!

After Spring Cleaning, however, I need to do my closets soon.....

With an exception of the bottom two left corners everything else is paper! Besides the ribbon on top. Looks a little better, until I decide to purchase the nice storage units.

What happened to all those cartridges?

This shoe rack works perfect, I can see the cartridges better too!

I moved the things I used least to the closet, I am not showing whats in there! LOL

Clean enough to mess up again!

Here are some crafting storage tips!

Have you seen these at Michaels?

Well they are perfect for those little bitty annoying ribbons that you don't know what to do with, I think everyone got those when they first started crafting! I need to decorate these.

Have you ever received or seen one of these wine boxes? I picked mine up at a second hand store.

It's great for housing your Embossing Gun!

I hope you have enjoyed my trip through my craft room and have picked up a tip or 2!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

If you have arrived from fabulous Shawnee then you are in the right spot. My inspiration for the little "Box in a Bag" came from a blog I just happened upon called the "The Little Blue Room". If you have the time please check out the site, your gonna love it! There you will find the directions on how to create this cute little box in a bag! The stamp set I am featuring is Mary's  "Good Friends" stamp set. You can purchase this one along with all the others you will see through out the hop here!

Next I just had to create a card to go with it, I wanted it to be fun and appealing to a child, so I thought the googly eyes would be perfect!!! It had to be colorful and cheery. I hope it looks that way to you?

I hope you have enjoyed my creations and they have inspired you to get your Easter projects started for all those little kiddies!!!

Challenge

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to do a quick post. I recently won a set of Crafter's Companion stamps and wanted to enter into their challenge. The theme is "Going Green" you will need their stamps to enter their challenges!!! I think this little girl is just adorable. She is from the S.W.A.L.k. (tm) Perfect Gift set. This is something new for me cause I don't color often. I tried using Prisma Markers, not that they aren't good, I just need a class on how to use them. So I opted for Crayola colored pencil. I hope you enjoy it!

Cardz TV Design Team Challenge #7

Happy Friday!!

Time for Cardz TV Challenge #7 . This week we are to create a card for any occasion, using the  sketch below! Use any colors you'd like, and substitute the flowers and ribbon with any embellishment you'd like. You can also turn the sketch to go any direction you'd like.  I have to tell you, this sketch was a doosy, at least that's how I felt. I have no idea as to why, maybe my creative juices weren't flowing. After several different attempts this is what I came up with, I hope you enjoy it!
Here is the stamp set I used for the challenge and you can pick up your set here!

Now it's time for you to head  over to Cardz TV and check out  the projects my DT sisters created.   Mary will be giving away a set of her stamps for the challenge, so make sure to join in on the fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a blessed day!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #104

Happy Wednesday!

Hi everyone, welcome to Cricut Cardz Challenge #104, this week we are to create a card with the theme "Wearing of the Green" Make a card for St Patrick’s Day using any cartridges you’d like with GREEN as the main color. I decided to make a shape card this week using several different cartridges. Gypsy Wanderings is where I got my card base from, it's welded together using the gypsy! The horseshoe is from A Child's Year and the Shamrock and Hat are from Designer's Calender. I wanted the emphasis on the shamrock and hat so that is where I used my green accompanied by the green background paper for a little bit of Irish flavor!

I hope you enjoy my card, now head on over to CCC to check out the other designers and join in on the fun!
